From October 26 to 31, 2009 lyrikline.org has celebrated its 10th anniversary together with friends and partners in a series of events in Berlin. The week of events was opened by German Federal President Horst Köhler, project manager Heiko Strunk and the poets Monika Rinck and Lebogang Mashile, who each gave insightful and eloquent speeches about poetry.

Mit einer Festwoche hat lyrikline.org vom 26.-31. Oktober 2009 zusammen mit vielen Freunden und internationalen Partnern sein 10-jähriges Bestehen in Berlin gefeiert.
Bundespräsidenten Horst Köhler hat die Festwoche mit einer Rede zur Poesie während der Auftaktveranstaltung am 26.10. eröffnet. Köhlers Rede sowie weitere Reden von Projektleiter Heiko Strunk und den Dichterinnen Monika Rinck oder Lebogang Mashile können nun hier auf der website der Literaturwerkstatt Berlin gehört werden.

Auf der website der Literaturwerkstatt Berlin kann man viele weitere spannende und interessante Poesiegespräch entdecken und nachhören!

New partner in Sweden / Neuer Partner in Schweden

Invitation to enter the 5th ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival

For the 5th time, the Literaturwerkstatt Berlin and interfilm Berlin are inviting entries for this competition to choose the best poetry films!

Entries should be short films based on one or more poems. A programme commission will decide which of the films entered will be featured in the competition or shown in the programme as part of the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival from 14 –17 October 2010 in Berlin in the Babylon Cinema. An international jury will decide the winners. The prizes awarded will be the ZEBRA Award for the Best Poetry Film, the Film Poetry Award of the Goethe Institute and the Ritter Sport Award, donated by Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co KG, to a total value of € 10,000. The deadline for entries is 14 June 2010 (full conditions of entry can be found at www.literaturwerkstatt.org). The ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival has established itself as an international forum for short films that deal with the content, aesthetics or form of poems. It offers filmmakers and poets from around the world the opportunity to exchange ideas and define positions.

The ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival is a cooperation project between the Literaturwerkstatt Berlin and interfilm Berlin and is kindly supported by the Capital Cultural Fund, the Goethe Institute, Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co KG and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) GmbH. It takes place as part of the poesiefestival berlin.

Ausschreibung zum 5. ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival

Zum 5. Mal schreiben die Literaturwerkstatt Berlin und interfilm Berlin den Wettbewerb um die besten Poesiefilme aus!
Eingereicht werden können Kurzfilme, die auf der Basis eines oder mehrerer Gedichte entstanden sind. Eine Programmkommission entscheidet, welche der Filme im Rahmen des ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival vom 14.–17. Oktober 2010 in Berlin im Kino Babylon im Wettbewerb laufen oder im Programm gezeigt werden. Eine international besetzte Jury ermittelt die Gewinner. Es werden die Preise „ZEBRA-Preis für den besten Poesiefilm“, „Filmpoesie-Preis des Goethe-Instituts“ und „Ritter-Sport-Preis, gestiftet von der Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co KG“ im Wert von insgesamt € 10 000 vergeben. Einsendeschluss ist der 14. Juni 2010 (vollständige Teilnahmebedingungen unter www.literaturwerkstatt.org). Das ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival hat sich als internationales Forum für Kurzfilme etabliert, die sich inhaltlich, ästhetisch oder formal mit Gedichten auseinandersetzen. Es bietet Filmemachern und Dichtern aus aller Welt Gelegenheit zum Ideenaustausch und zur Standortbestimmung.
